A Houston boy who can't stay out of the heat
I grew up around Houston, which means I learned early what the rest of the country only hears about: what August feels like here at 10 in the morning. Ninety-eight degrees, humidity like a wet blanket, and that garage or back patio full of stuff you've been meaning to deal with — waiting for a cooler weekend that never actually comes.
I've spent years working outside in this weather, and somewhere along the way a strange thing happened: I started to like it. The sweat, the loading, the before-and- after of a cleared-out space — it beats a desk. So let us be the weird ones. You point from the doorway with a cold drink in your hand, and we'll do the lifting, the loading, and the sweating. That's the whole arrangement, and everybody wins.
Why we only work Katy
Big-metro haulers treat Katy as the far edge of a Houston route — which is how you end up with four-hour arrival windows and drivers who don't know Mason Road from Mason Creek. We work one territory, we know the neighborhoods and their HOA quirks, and our routes are short, which is what makes same-day pickups possible.
What we believe
- Quote first, work second. A firm price before a single item is lifted. No hourly meters.
- Donation before disposal. Usable goods should end up with Katy-area families, not in a landfill.
- Leave it cleaner. Every haul ends with a swept space.
