Appliances we haul
- Refrigerators and stand-alone freezers
- Washers, dryers, and stacked laundry units
- Dishwashers, ranges, ovens, microwaves
- Water heaters (tank and tankless)
- Window A/C units and dehumidifiers
Before we arrive
For safety, appliances need to be disconnected before pickup: water lines shut off and drained for washers and fridges with ice makers, gas lines capped by a qualified plumber for gas dryers and ranges, and electrical unplugged. We can move the unit from its spot once it's disconnected — you don't need to drag anything to the driveway.
Where old appliances go
Appliances are one of the most recyclable things we haul — the steel, copper, and aluminum have real scrap value. Units go to metal recyclers rather than the landfill. Refrigerants in fridges, freezers, and A/C units require certified recovery, which is exactly why appliance disposal is worth handing to a hauler instead of guessing at curbside rules.
Frequently asked questions
Do you disconnect appliances?
We ask that water, gas, and electrical be disconnected before we arrive — gas disconnections should be done by a qualified plumber. Once disconnected, we handle all moving and hauling.
Do you take refrigerators with freon?
Yes. Refrigerators, freezers, and A/C units are accepted and routed for proper refrigerant recovery and metal recycling.
Can you haul a water heater from the attic?
Yes — attic water heaters are common in Katy-area homes and we remove them regularly once they're drained and disconnected.
