How a garage cleanout works
- Walk-through: you show us what stays and what goes; we quote a firm volume price on the spot.
- Sort: on request we stage keep / donate / haul piles as we work instead of just grabbing everything.
- Load & sweep: we load the truck, then sweep the slab clean.
- Responsible disposal: donations to local centers, metals to recycling, trash to licensed facilities.
Common garage finds we haul
- Old paint cans (dried/solidified only — liquid paint is household hazardous waste)
- Broken lawn equipment, mowers (fluids drained), trimmers
- Bikes, toys, playsets, and sports gear the kids outgrew
- Scrap lumber and leftover flooring from past projects
- Boxes that moved in with you and never got opened
- Shelving, workbenches, cabinets, and old tools
Garage full because the attic's full too? We do attics, sheds, and storage units in the same visit — one truck, one price.
Frequently asked questions
How long does a garage cleanout take?
Most single- and two-car garage cleanouts take two to four hours depending on how packed the space is and how much sorting you want us to do alongside you.
Can you take old gasoline or propane tanks?
No — fuels, liquid chemicals, and pressurized tanks are hazardous waste we can't transport. County household hazardous waste programs accept them. Empty propane tanks and drained equipment are fine.
Do I have to be there?
For the initial quote and sorting decisions, yes — it goes fast. For simple 'take everything in this pile' jobs, we can work from photos and instructions.
